Fort Detrick Welcomes New Commander
(Fort Detrick, Md.) - The Fort Detrick community will welcome Maj. Gen. James K. Gilman, the new commander of U.S. Army Medical Research and Materiel Command and Fort Detrick, June 11 at 10 a.m. at Fort Detrick, Md., on Blue and Gray Field.
Gilman was previously the commander of Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas and Great Plains Regional Medical Command, which overseas Army hospitals and clinics in 16 states.
